The first three seconds decide everything

Attention is the only metric that matters first
Your hook is the whole game. If the opening beat doesn’t earn attention, the rest of your work never gets seen. People decide to stay or scroll before your idea has a chance to land, so the first frame has to do the heavy lifting.
Treat the hook as its own deliverable. Write ten before you touch the rest of the post, and you’ll notice the weak ones fall away fast.
Lead with tension
A question, a contradiction, or a bold claim creates a gap the viewer wants closed. Open that loop and they’ll stay to see how it resolves.
